Do I need to know anything about DNS?
No. We send you the exact records to add at your registrar, with screenshots for the common ones, or we make the change with you on a short call. Most changes take a few minutes to enter.
Will connecting a subdomain affect my current website?
No. A subdomain like clients.yourstudio.com is separate from your main site. Your WordPress, Squarespace, Showit or Wix site keeps running exactly as it does now.
Can I start with my own site and move to a hosted one later?
Yes. Your clients, galleries and orders don't move when your website does. Switching only changes where your main domain points.
What if I leave HeyShutter?
Your domain was never ours, so you point it wherever you like. Your website content and your photos are yours.
Do I need a hosted website to get the branded app?
No. The app works with any of the three options. It signs clients in to the same account as your client portal.
